Drafting

The elevation drawing turned out to be my favorite. I found it easiest because the measurements were a lot easier to get than the rest of the drawings. Also the poche looks the best in this drawing because of the different line weights and scenery that was used to show depth.

A floor plan from exercise 6.4. I looked at this and didn't know where to start. I think it turned out nicely though.

Above is the Venturi house floor plan. This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!

Above: The Section Cut of the Woodland Chapel was by the far the most difficult. All the measurements took the longest on this one along with the poche work that had to be done. But once I was all done I was proud to stand back and look at it finished nicely.

Perspective Finals

Looking Down on to my dresser was probably my favorite. It was a little tougher than the others because of all the small objects but I think it turned out the best!

My lamp, for light and shadow.
Two point interior of the end of my residence hall. This one was my least favorite because there wasn't much detail in it.
East Carolina Universities cafeteria is what i choose for my exterior one point perspective. I thought this was a beautiful interesting building. I went to visit ECU the weekend while I had to take photographs to the perspectives for and thought this would be perfect for my Exterior one point perspective.

One Point Perspective

I found one point perspective the hardest out of perspective drawings. Just figuring out where to start is what was hardest for me!

Site Plans

The topographic view of my house in Cabarrus County, NC. During this class we learned all about topographic views and site plans. I decided to add color like green for the trees and brown and light brown for the house. I also used a lighter green for the grass and included a few topography lines.

Twig and Cell Phone

My final four views of the twig and cell phone were by far my favorite. I like the detail I put in it and I found this one easier to do than the rest because I could really exaggerate.

The 32 views of the twig and cell phone were one of my favorites! I felt like all I got enough variety and views from the 64 to show different patterns and shapes.

The 16 views were very easy to take from my 32.

The 8 views were kind of difficult because I didn't know which to chose and I felt that I didn't put much detail in them.

Warm-Ups for Design Visualization

A rainy day calls for lovely Rain boots, my pair of boots were actually apart of this drawing. I really enjoyed this warm up too because everyone had different boots so that gave us a lot of variety when drawing them.

This bicycle drawing was very difficult because we had an hour to work on it and I also found it hard to concentrate on the negative space instead of the bike itself.

I wish I had added more detail to my shoe sketch. I wasn't happy with the way it turned out because it was unfinished.
